Exceptional quality late Victorian Sheraton manner ladies day desk ideal also as dressing table. Fine piece, probably commissioned for Gillows or Warings, with fitted drawer back flanked by cupboards with classic period urn inlays over pair of drawers standing on fine tapering square formed legs. Extensive boxwood stringing and pen tinted inlays throughout and offered in wonderful original condition. Exceptional example of English cabinet work. Measures 41" wide x 50" high x 19" deep.
