Huge and handsome pair of beautifully proportioned Gainsborough design chairs with Chippendale influence of third quarter of the 18th Century. Crisply carved fan and eagle head scaled cabriole legs supporting broad seat and splay arms - all in rubbed paint finish. Upholstered in quality brushed tan leather and studded. (We don't typically stock such late pieces but there was nothing 'shabby chic' about these - top quality and eye-catching).
