Antique Period Oak Coffer - 17th Century Charles II Period Oak Panelled Coffer

Heavy quality late 17th Century triple panelled coffer with planked and cleeted top with wire hinges. Gouache frieze over lozenge carved panels enclosed within scratch moulded frame and stiles tied by pegged and tennon joints. Good even colour and rich patination. Measures 53" wide x 27.5" high x 22.5" deep.
