Rare 18th Century deerskin covered travelling trunk

Very rare example of an early 18th Century deerskin travelling trunk with domed lid and decorative steel studded strapping. Still retaining much of the hide and carrying handles. Nice example. Measures 42" wide x 22" high x 27" deep.
