18th Century Georgian Oak Dresser


More formal and aesthetic than typical for an 18th Century dresser this Lancashire influenced piece has a gallery pilaster flanked back over work surface, ogee moulded and crossbanded at the edge. Mahogany reeded pilasters flank raised and fielded panel front with two cupboard doors to centre. Quadrant moulded drawers below furnished with brass swan neck handles and standing on ogee moulded bracket feet. Matured to lovely honey shade and soft wax lustre to patinated finish. Measures 150cm wide x 55cm deep x 86cm high.
