Most rare to have any fine furniture made in oak during the Regency period so best guess this particular sideboard fairly unique piece. Featuring a gallery back with slide doors (for glasses) and breakfront top with drawers furnished with brass knob handles. Trimmed throughout with mahogany cross bandings and standing on fine turned legs. Best guess originates from the North East of England as pretty much the only region working with oak during the mahogany fashion elsewhere. Measures 152cm wide x 110cm high x 55cm deep.
