Handsome late 19th Century mahogany writing desk in late Chippendale George III design with dark green quality leather inset bordered by crossbanded edge and gadrooned moulding. Banks of curl mahogany faced cock beaded drawers furnished with decoratively moulded brass swan neck handles and standing on delightfully relief carved cabriole legs terminating in lions paw feet. Oak lined hand cut dovetailed drawers and quality throughout. Lovely example with plenty of knee height for tall people. Measures 60" wide x 30" deep.
