Standing on very solid utriform sabre legs united by platform this table is ideal for seating maximum numbers in a compact space, especially square dining rooms. Opens via runner system to incorporate any combination of the two original leaves to offer seating arrangements for 6, 8, 10 or possibly 12 people. In absolutely untouched original condition currently so does require a sympathetic polish by our in house team to your chosen shade (included in the price) but a great survivor after 180 years of service! Standing on turned central column meeting platform base and currently in absolutely untouched original condition with very sun faded patination. Can be revived to be museum piece or polished to your specification within the price. Measures 48" diameter and extends to 72".

We believe this to be a designer commissioned piece, possibly from Italy and of really super quality. Measuring 7ft diameter with octagonal faceted top inlaid with star burst and chequer board banding most certainly make a huge statement in large open plan kitchen and standing on a central base leaves maximum seating for up to 12 people if required. Not our typical era of expertise but we are very impressed by this piece and imagine quite expensive when first made. Measures 84" diameter.

Wonderful untouched example of very early form of extending dining table formed from pair of demi ends that can stand as consoles or to form a perfect round table and then, with gated rear legs, opens to incorporate the original leaves out to 10ft length to seat 12 or 14 people comfortable. Superb figured Cuban timbers to richly patinated and untouched top and standing on fine tapering turned legs with tulip carved shoulders. If you are looking for a good original early table with very versatile format then this is a real gem. Measures 54" diameter when ends formed as a circular table and total length of 116" with the extension leaves.

We believe this table is by Warings and Gillows as of very unique design and superb quality throughout. Stands as a feature centre table on fine tuned legs and then, from hidden panel drawers below the top, opens to reveal fold out radial extensions to provide seating for 8 people. Truly wonderful piece of the finest English cabinet work and an absolute one off ideal for drawing room or tight dining space. Measures 41" diameter closed and 58" diameter extended.
