Most Unusual And Large 8ft 19th Century Solid Rosewood Anglo Indian Campaign Dining Table

Must be a pretty rare item as, despite specialising in antique dining tables for many years, we have not seen this format of campaign dining table previously. Constructed from solid rosewood and evidently of Anglo Indian origins this table is formed by two large D end tops mounted on two four legged bases, easily detachable with bolt system. We took these pictures in the rain so any finish is actually just water at the moment. The table itself appears never to have had a finish other than wax as probably not required for campaign purposes or the fact that rosewood is such a hard and oily timber by nature. Anyway, fantastic and unique feature piece that will seat 12 people comfortably and ideal if you are planning to head off to battle of course! Measures 96" long x 66" wide.
