Description
Rare sized (will seat up to 18 people comfortable) early period mahogany console ended extending dining table with richly figured Cuban timber thumb moulded top. Comprises two console ends with box section runner system pulling out to meet and any combination of four leaves to various lengths. Stands on crisply turned and reeded legs with jelly mould fee and enclosed casters. Recently restored sympathetically to retain all patination and character. Truly a wonderful piece once adorning a fine and wealth home in the Georgian era. Measures 162" long x 58" fully extended.Circa: C.1820
