Simply a masterpiece of the finest Victorian craftsmanship this table is one the best we've seen in decades of specialising in large antique dining tables. Came from a Scottish lodge and obviously commissioned by someone at great expense as truly of unique design and quality. Featuring the most prolific medullary ray quarter sawn top with drop thumb moulding and opening via crisp double sandwich runner system and solid steel winder to incorporate any combination of leaves to seat 6 to 16 adults comfortably. Framed by beautifully crafted shaped apron mounted with shields and standing on exquisitely relief carved cabriole formed legs. This is truly the Aston Martin of tables so grand statement if you have the setting and want the best! Measures 144" long fully extended x 58" wide.Circa: C1870
