Antique Country Chairs - Set of Eight High Back Victorian Windsor Chairs

Description

There are very few provincial country built chairs that can be considered solid, durable and extremely comfortable. In history most country chairs are simple flimsy and unusable today but these grand models were made individually to a very high standard, perhaps as fireside chairs. The previous owners likely invested a lifetime to form a matching group of this calibre. Individually chairs of this stature are sold for £750 each but we've acquired these well so pleased to offer the whole group very cheaply. Elegant form with elm dish carved seats and spinle turn rails this set will make a very handsome farmhouse kitchen setting.
