Rare Regency Period Bridge Card Table

Description

Most original Georgian period card tables are of the 3ft size so we consider this 8 seater centre piece table to made for Bridge and most certainly made to the very highest standards of English cabinet making for a wealthy client. In the most exotic figured rosewood the rotating top opens to baized interior (to be replaced in your choice of green or red) and standing carved trestle formed base that has the most extraordinary runner system for the legs to set in and allow seating on all sides. In absolutely untouched original condition this piece is worthy of a museum. Measures 46" long x 23" wide when closed and opens to 46" square.
