Description
Would be very easy to mistake this table for the impossible original George II 1765 period examples of which very few existing outside of stately homes and museums. With highly figured dense Cuban timbers to the top and a very fine eagle claw club leg this table would be perfect for any grand Georgian dining hall. May look a little leggy but every inch of the table has berths for chairs and when chairs around those set in not noticed. Also a very versatile concept breaking down to a combination of sizes. Smart and rare format of table. Measures 160" long x 57" wide fully extended.Circa: C1880
