Description
Hard to describe this very unique table in any particular category as far too articulate to be a farmhouse refectory and most unusual to be so impressive as a one piece top formal dining table. Best guess this table originates northern France and following Louis XV styling to be a grand hall table in a chateau. The thick panel work is set above an apron framework and standing on the most fabulous and bold relief carved cabriole formed legs. In natural oxidised patina currently but anything possible with this stunning table designed to seat 14 adults comfortably and more for family. Measures 145" long x 42" wide.Circa: C1880
