Description
Pretty rare table from the original period of pedestal tables this twin pillar example benefits super hand cut figures timbers and apron from below the top. One extension leaf and standing on quadriform hipped sabre legs terminating on brass toes casters. Very faded in its untouched state but preserved well for sympathetic polishing to your specification. Please Note: The internet is full of ghastly modern reproductions of these tables, by companies claiming to be experts in antique dining tables - just look for the word 'style' in their sales jargon and many described as made from walnut (never made historically in walnut) to understand they are NOT antiques.
