Original Regency Period Mahogany 5ft King-size Double Bed

Description

Crisp quality early 19th Century Regency bed frame with panel bed head with flanking turned and relief carved split pilasters. Shaped side rails meeting foot board formed with turned baluster posts united by nicely turned and carved rails. Many, many reproductions and fakes on the market but this is the genuine article of a size to take modern mattresses of King-size. Measures 61" wide x 80" long.
