Well here's proof that an antique dining table doesn't have to be dark and dour by naturally ageing to a bleached flotsam and jetsam appearance very similar to the fashionable look of the imported factory made tables from the East. Yes, the table was made to an incredibly high quality standard by hand by real craftsmen of the era and is extremely tired currently but with some skilled restoration work by our team will become a very handsome centre piece again. With a solid quarter sawn oak thumb moulded top that opens via runners and winder this table can be formatted to seat from 6 to 20 people comfortably and with rare shoot over leg ends seating is very good. With classic tuned baluster legs the simple lines ideal for large open plan kitchen, informal dining and perhaps an orangery. Measures 490cm long fully extended x 135cm wide.Circa: C1880
