Large Antique Oval Oak Farmhouse Kitchen Table To Seat 12 People

Description

This is a particularly large version of what is often referred to as a wake table but in truth most made in the last 150 years have not been used at a wake as the tradition from the Irish 18th Century had curtailed. Super grainy timbers to the top of this table and useful drop down sides for transport or putting to the side of a room when required. Slender gating cabriole to pad foot legs, well set in and adjustable to offer maximum seating to entire perimeter. Here in untouched condition but anything possible if you have a required shade or finish to match chairs, etc. Measures 270cm long x 182cm wide.
