Description
Incredibly impressive and unique piece of stately home scale 19th Century masterpiece of craftsmanship this mahogany extending table incorporates the most exquisite Sheraton revival inlaid detail we have ever seen on an English made table. The top is of highly figured timber and opens via runners to incorporate any combination of leaves to vary length and the border is inlaid with satinwood and trimmed with boxwood. Apron framing below with paterea and standing on fine square formed legs intricately inlaid with lattice work. Preserved in absolute untouched condition currently and will be superb once the tired finished removed and professionally French polished by our in house team to your chosen shade. Stunning table to make a real statement. Measures 490cm long x 122cm wide.Circa: C1880
