12ft Jacobean Carved Oak Victorian Extending Dining Table

Description

The Victorians revised many former influences during the late 19th Century and with the transition from mahogany to oak as the timber for building these magnificent large scale extending dining tables it lent itself to incorporating the Jacobean influences. With a very tired and dark finish table bellies its eventual future with to be quite stunning once cleaned off and polished professionally. Featuring a gadroon carved D end top, opening via runners and steel winder to incorporate any combination of four original leaves and super details to the finishing apron below. Standing on bold relief carved and turned cup and covered legs. Measures 365cm long x 137cm wide.
