4 Metre Regency Dining Table Extending Mahogany Reeded Legs

Description

Fabulous early 19th Century mahogany extending table with highly figured moulded edge top and rare shoot end configured runner system to maximise seating to the ends. Four original leaves to vary length and standing on fine spiral reeded legs terminating in brass cup casters. Not many tables of this design surviving from the Regency period and this particularly fine example indeed. And a price very similar to the Far East factory reproductions our competitors sell (described as 'style' and often offered as 'antique table and chairs sets')! Measures 405cm long x 140cm. wide.
