So a sure sign that this quality Victorian oak extending dining table was commissioned for a wealthy individual of the time is not just the fact it has passed through several generation without ever coming to market or having restoration, the impressive size, build and quality but also that it retains its original articulate leaf rack. You'll see from the pictures that 130 years of use have left an impression but just like the rare barn find classic cars, a testament to the great craftsmanship of our history that the table has survived so well.
