Description
Every element of this stunning Regency dining table offers crisp quality and the most attractive lines and detailing. The thumb moulded top is of highly figured hand cut timbers and is trimmed below with beaded finishing aprons with facet panels to the ends. Incorporates two extension leaves to vary length and stands on exquisitely detailed reeded vase stems supported by sweeping quadriform reeded legs terminating in lions paw feet. Important rare early period table in excellent condition, only requiring some minor polish work to bring back to its impressive best. Very few genuine Regency tables of this calibre and scale on sale in the World today. Measures 438cm long x 125cm wide. Leaves 61cm each.Circa: C1820
