Quite possibly the largest, finest and lowest priced genuine Regency period Gillows Imperial dining table of this scale ever to be on sale in the World!. This particular example has all the perfect attributes with classic reeded top over cross grain apron and is formed in two parts (designed to be consoles at the side of the room to allow dancing but very useful today to clear the room for functions or even move from room to room) and the enclosed runner system then adjoins to form a single table and open to incorporate any combination of leaves. So varying lengths of dining for 6 to 24 people and any combination in between. Very fine tapering reeded legs terminating in brass cup casters. We've not worked on this table just yet but it's matured to a naturally appealing warm tan shade which can be sympathetically revived and evened to retain 200 years of evolving history fit for the grandest of stately homes deserving a spectacular museum piece such as this.
