6 Metre Antique Dining Table - 19ft William IV Early 19th Century Extending Mahogany Dining Table

Magnificent early period mahogany dining table comprising pair of console ends with integral runner systems opening to incorporate six extension leaves to varying lengths to seat 6 to 22 people comfortably. This table was one of the first designs to incorporate runner system and interestingly adopt the concept to be broken down to become side consoles, we believe to allow the room to be used for dancing after dinner. The table stands on eight finely turned and faceted legs and has recently been hand French polished to perfect condition. Measures 228" long x 59" wide.
