Antique Georgian Regency Period Extending Pedestal Dining Table
Very rare format of high Regency period mahogany extending dining table formed from a Pembroke drop leaf format with solid Cuban mahogany top rotating and extending on a very aesthetic quadrifirm sabre leg base terminating in lions paw brass feet. Incorporates any combination of two extension leaves for varying length to seta up to 12 people. Truly remarkable survivor of early innovations by our English cabinet makers. Very fine piece indeed. Measures 50" wide x 30" when closed, leaves up to 50" square and extends to 92" at full length.
