Rare examples of full height filing cabinets this pair dating from the late Victorian period are really aesthetic pieces rather than the typical utility look. Featuring a moulded cornice over flanking locking bars with individual apertures enclosed by tambours a very skilled craftsman went to a great deal of work to create these quality pieces. In untouched original condition this unique pair would still function well in an office for box files but also make very smart CD racks or valuable book collection display.
