Set 12 Hepplewhite Antique Dining Chairs With Shield Backs

Large sets of Georgian chairs haven't really survived from the late 18th Century but the late Victorians revived the Hepplewhite designs and these are a super quality example of the best made at the time. The moulded framework encloses most articulately worked pierced fanning back splat and meets a generous over stuff bow fronted seat (still retaining some quite awful 130 year old rexine but don't be put off as we will fully finish frames and upholster in your fabric). Slender ogee moulded square formed tapering legs are united by H stretcher for extra strength. Nice to have an original untouched set like this 140 years old but will our expert hands will be transformed to a very desirable and rare set from the period.
