Narrow 5 metre Antique Walnut Extending Dining Table

Now here's a bit of antique table magic as very unusual to have such a small aesthetic centre piece table that metamorphically transforms to such a huge dining table to seat around 18 people. Almost certainly made for house which didn't have a separate dining room, perhaps as hall table for dining. In its closed state the figured top is of oval form and trimmed below with apron uniting fine cabriole and relief carved legs. Hidden below are extensive runner systems that then give variable length with multiple leaves right out to a maximum length of just under 5 metres. Needs a polish but this is included in our prices and some lovely walnut timbers will come to life. Measures 100cm wide x 489cm long fully extended.
